Things To Do

All Things Hellenic

Don't miss the Hellenic Culture Center where you can learn more about our Greek heritage and how the contributions made by ancient Greek civilizations continue to impact our lives today.

New in 2016 — Backgammon

Come play Backgammon this year at the Festival. Play for fun, OR play each day in sanctioned brackets (USBGF) with cash prizes for the winners.

Brackets will be played throughout the day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Cash prizes will be awarded each day. No experience required. An Entry Fee of $100 will be charged for tournament play per day. Entry fee will be collected at the tent, and is only payable in coupons available at the Coupon Booths. Non-tournament play is also available for free. Look for the Backgammon / Tavli tent next to the Taverna.

Tour The Church

The church, with its awe-inspiring byzantine iconography, will be open for touring from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Explore each display at your own pace, learning from our docents along the way. You'll learn how Orthodoxy fits into the Christian tradition, gain insight into church customs and sacraments, view vestments and holy objects, and learn about their symbolism. The Holy Trinity Choir will perform at 6 p.m. on Friday, 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Want more? Don't miss the Byzantine Music Seminars at 5 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Visit the Bookstore

Stop by Holy Trinity's well-stocked store for books, gifts, icons, and so much more. The bookstore is located on the south end of the hallway that also houses the Hellenic Culture Center and church office.

Just for Kids

Visit our Children's Area for all the fun designed especially for kids — sand art & crafts, caricature artists, face painting, and more. The Agora Marketplace also features a number of delights for young Festival-goers.
